Suyou is one of the newer additions to Mobile Legends’ roster, an exorcist-themed hybrid who fights with a pair of fan-like weapons and leans into a combo-based playstyle rather than a single standout ability. Her theming sets her apart visually and thematically from most of the existing cast, and her hybrid assassin-fighter identity means she’s built to dive in, chain her abilities together, and come out the other side of a fight having dealt with her target directly rather than from a distance.

Role and playstyle

Suyou fits the assassin-fighter hybrid mold, typically played in the jungle where she can farm efficiently early and look for opportunities to pick off isolated enemies as the game develops. Her kit is built around stringing abilities together in sequence rather than relying on any single skill to carry a fight — each part of her combo is meant to set up the next, rewarding players who learn the rhythm of her kit and can execute it consistently under pressure. Because so much of her value comes from landing a full combo rather than a single ability, she plays best when she can pick her engagements deliberately rather than being forced into fights on the enemy’s terms.

Strengths

Suyou’s combo-oriented kit gives her strong burst potential against isolated targets once a player has learned to chain her abilities smoothly, making her a genuine threat to squishier heroes caught out of position. As a newer hero, she also benefits from many opponents being less familiar with her patterns and combo timing, which can create openings that a more well-known hero wouldn’t get as easily. Her hybrid identity gives her more flexibility in how a fight is approached compared to heroes locked into a single damage pattern.

Weaknesses

The tradeoff for that combo-based design is a real execution requirement — missing a step in her sequence, or misjudging the order abilities need to be used in, can leave her with a much weaker fight than intended. Like most assassin-leaning heroes, she’s also vulnerable if her combo is interrupted by crowd control before it completes, since her kit is built around a full sequence landing rather than any one ability standing alone as reliable damage.

Build direction

Suyou’s itemization generally leans toward physical damage with enough cooldown reduction to keep her combo cycling as often as possible, following the same logic as other combo-dependent fighters and assassins in the roster. Early items typically prioritize sustain and mobility to support jungle clearing and picking her engagement windows carefully, while the build shifts toward burst damage and attack speed as the game progresses. Because specific balance patches can shift how her kit is best itemized, it’s worth treating her build direction as a general damage-and-cooldown framework rather than a fixed item order.
